JustFly Credits

Job ID: 31707262

Budget: $10 – $30 USD

I booked a holiday back to England for my wife and I last year return flights from Bradly to England via Dublin, along with a few internal flights once we were there. Understandably owing to Covid those flights and trips had to be cancelled. I received credit for one trip being from Bradley CT to London Heathrow, being AerLingus booked by JustFly. Bbut kept the others as credits as my mother being 93 and worried about her health I might need to fly over at any time and the credits would be for such an event.

Such a requirement became necessary in September. I contacted JustFly the first of numerous attempts to try and use my credits (which I had paid for), each time I tried to speak to a person it would tale going on towards an hour and several phone transfers to actually speak to a person., taking up to an hour each time to actually speak to a person.
I was told by JustFly EACH time, I had to use the credit on the same trip i.e. Bradly CT to Dublin to London return and few of the smaller internal trips. I explained many times that AerLingus no longer flew from Bradley. Despite this JustFly were adamant that I had to use the exact same trip for the credit. So I guess, if you had a credit from Australia you’d have to get to that country first before I could use the credit.
I contacted AerLingus many times to check with their process who said NO it could be on any AerLingus flight, especially as they no longer flew the Bradley to Dublin route. I had by this time had to book and pay for the trip needing to make sure I got to England as quick as I could. I carried on trying to get my credits to at least use for partial payment. So, back to JustFly… again wait wait and wait, as unable to speak to a human being. Eventually I managed to contact them and once more was told NO it had to be the same trip. They seemed impossible to understand that was not possible.
After numerous heated" discussion, I was told that AerLingus said had to be same route. I double checked with the airline who stated again and again that it could be used on ANY AerLingus flight.
I tried and tried to get JustFly to understand. I even asked if they wanted me to jump out the plane by parachute to make sure I could land at Bradly
In the end I had to pay for my flight and LOSE well over $3500 of my credits and cash and spent almost 14hrs on the phone to them or trying to speak to them.
I will NEVER, NEVER use JustFly again. I have lost a large amount of money and had my trip ruined being stressful enough an event in the first place.
As it happens my mother is thankfully better but this stress and now loss of money has lead me to ask for possible legal help in the matter as it seems there is nothing I can find to actually ask the company re such things.
