File TRO & Fundraise Fast

Job ID: 40505738

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

My immediate priority is twofold: first, to secure a temporary restraining order that stops our landlord from disposing of six years’ worth of medical, communications, and disaster-relief inventory; second, to put quick cash in the bank so we can relocate Emergency Medical Rescue of New York City—an all-volunteer 501(c)(3)—without interrupting service to the public.

Temporary restraining order
• I need the full set of court papers accurately prepared and ready to file in New York. I’m not even sure whether a template or past filing exists, so guidance on the correct form, required exhibits, and filing procedure is essential. Clear, court-ready wording that highlights the illegal shut-off of utilities and threat of disposal of charitable property will be the bar for acceptance.

Rapid fundraising
• While the order is in motion, I also need an actionable plan to raise moving funds fast. Crowdfunding pages, emergency grant leads, corporate outreach—whatever combination can realistically bring in dollars within weeks is welcome. I can supply our nonprofit status letter, mission statement, photos, and service stats; you package them into compelling copy and a schedule that I can launch and manage immediately.

Success looks like:
1. A signed, court-accepted restraining order that buys us breathing room.
2. A live fundraising campaign (or multiple channels) with persuasive messaging, a launch checklist, and a first-week promotion calendar.

I operate on a shoestring, so solutions must make every dollar count. If you can navigate New York civil procedures and pair that with creative, low-cost fundraising tactics, your help will keep our ambulances rolling and our radios on.
