Draft & File TN Continuance Motion

Oral argument in my Tennessee Court of Appeals case is set imminently, yet a sudden medical emergency affecting the client now makes attendance impossible. I need a seasoned appellate practitioner to prepare a proper Motion for Continuance that clearly cites the medical grounds and attaches the supporting documentation I already have on hand. Once the motion is finalized, it must be e-filed on the court’s website tomorrow, Thursday the 16th, to give the panel sufficient notice.

You should know the Court of Appeals’ formatting rules, citation style, and electronic filing portal so the pleading is accepted without rejection. I will supply the case caption, docket number, scheduling order, and the client’s medical statement immediately after hire; you craft the motion, add any required certificates of service, secure my signature electronically, and file it before close of business.
