APA to Bluebook Conversion
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a collection of scholarly articles—each between 5,000 and 10,000 words—currently formatted in APA. I need them transformed so every element follows Harvard Bluebook (21st ed.) standards.
Scope of work
• Re-style the entire document, not just the citations, to align with Bluebook rules.
• Convert all APA in-text citations into correctly numbered footnotes.
• Edit and standardize each footnote for case names, abbreviations, signals, pin cites, supra/infra, id., and italics.
• Rework the reference list into a Bluebook-compliant bibliography or Table of Authorities.
• Deliver two Word files per article: one with tracked changes, one clean and publication-ready.
The manuscripts are mostly text with very few tables or figures, so the focus is precision editing rather than layout. Familiarity with MS Word styles, cross-references, and legal citation tools is essential.
