Tri-Lingual Legal Document Translation
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I have a set of legal documents that must read as if they were originally drafted in the target language, whether that is Russian, Uzbek, or English. The job is straightforward: render every clause, definition, and schedule with absolute fidelity to meaning, preserve the original formatting, and return a clean, ready-to-file version that stands up to legal scrutiny.
The material includes agreements and supporting exhibits; most are Word files with a few scanned PDFs. I will supply reference glossaries and previous filings where helpful, but I expect you to rely on your own expertise with legal terminology and any CAT tool you prefer (Trados, memoQ, Wordfast, etc.) to keep terminology consistent. Confidentiality is critical, so an NDA signature is required before I release the documents.
Deliverables
• Fully translated document set in both editable Word and print-ready PDF, mirroring the source layout
• A brief terminology sheet for any non-standard terms you had to research
• One round of post-delivery edits if I spot anything that needs clarification
