Translate Spanish Court Documents
Budget: £250 – £750 GBP
I have a set of Spanish-language court documents that must be rendered into clear, professional English while preserving every legal nuance. Accuracy is paramount—dates, names, procedural phrases, and exhibit references need to match the originals exactly—but I do not have a custom glossary or unusual terminology list, so standard legal translation practice should suffice.
You’ll receive clean PDFs plus the original Word templates we use for filings. Please return:
• An English version that mirrors the formatting of each source page, ready for immediate filing or e-discovery upload.
• A brief translator’s note highlighting any terms that required interpretation choices or could have alternate readings.
Experience in legal translation, especially with court pleadings, motions, and rulings, is essential. If you work in SDL Trados, MemoQ, or a similar CAT environment, let me know; otherwise a carefully proofed native translation is fine. I’ll share the first batch (about 4,500 words) upon award and would like a 48-hour turnaround, with the possibility of additional work to follow if everything goes smoothly.
