Translate English Court Briefs
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need several English-language court briefs translated word-for-word into the target language while preserving every nuance of the original legal intent. Because these are official court documents, accuracy, consistency in terminology, and respect for the established formatting conventions are essential.
What you will receive from me
• Clean, scanned or editable copies of the briefs
• Any reference glossaries I already use for recurring legal terms
• Clarification on proper names, filing numbers, or stylistic points if questions arise
What I expect back
1. A fully translated version of each brief, delivered in the same structure and paragraphing as the source.
2. A short terminology sheet noting key legal expressions you standardised.
3. A brief translator’s note (one page or less) outlining any passages that required contextual interpretation.
All documents are confidential; please confirm that you can comply with standard NDA requirements before we begin. Native-level mastery of the target language and proven experience with court document translation are both must-haves. If you have previous work samples (with sensitive data redacted), feel free to share them when you respond.
