Spanish Legal Translation & Formatting

Job ID: 40025553

Budget: $8 – $15 CAD

I have a legal document drafted in Spanish that must be rendered in English in its entirety, not just selected portions. Every clause, heading, footnote, exhibit and pagination mark needs to appear in the same place and style as the source, so the English version can be filed or cited side-by-side with the original.

Deliverables
• A fully translated Microsoft Word file that mirrors all original formatting, numbering and spacing
• Optional PDF copy if your workflow already generates one

Acceptance Criteria
1. Terminology aligns with standard legal English; ambiguous phrasing is resolved with concise translator’s notes only where absolutely necessary.
2. Section and clause numbering, tables, signature blocks and annex labels match the source layout.
3. File opens cleanly in Word without broken styles or misplaced characters, ready for immediate use.

If you work with CAT tools, that’s fine, as long as the final output reads naturally and meets the points above. Let me know your estimated timeline and any questions you may have about specific legal terms before getting started.
