Spanish Legal JPEGs to English PDFs

Job ID: 40036470

Budget: $250 – $750 NZD

I have a large batch of more than twenty Spanish-language legal documents supplied only as JPEG images. I need each one translated into clear, accurate English that preserves the precise legal terminology, then laid out in a clean, professional PDF that mirrors the original structure.

Because the files will be used for client reference, consistency of phrasing and an easily readable format matter more than sworn certification; however, the wording must still reflect standard legal usage in the United States. You are free to OCR the images or transcribe manually, but the final PDFs should be fully selectable, searchable text—not flattened scans—with headings, numbering, signatures, and stamps positioned just as in the originals.

Deliverables – one folder containing:
• A separate, well-formatted English PDF for each source JPEG, named to match the original.
• A master glossary of any recurring legal terms or clauses you needed to harmonize across documents.

Acceptance criteria:
• No omissions or additions to the source content.
• Uniform terminology across all files.
• PDFs pass a quick copy-paste test to confirm live text.
• Layout differences limited to minor spacing adjustments only.

If you have proven experience translating legal materials from Spanish to English and are comfortable working with image-only source files in tools like Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, or similar, I’d like to hear how quickly you can deliver and see a brief sample of comparable work.
