Japanese Patent Claim Localization

Job ID: 40399198

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I have several Japanese mechanical-engineering patent filings that need to be re-typed and fully localized into clear, U.S.-style English. The job is focused on the claims and any directly supporting passages—everything must read as if originally drafted for an American technical audience while still mirroring the legal intent of the original JP text.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A faithful, line-by-line English rendering of each claim, formatted in standard U.S. claim hierarchy (preamble, elements, dependencies).
• Consistent use of widely accepted mechanical-engineering terminology; I am not supplying a dedicated glossary, so please draw on industry standards and USPTO conventions.
• A clean, editable Word document for each patent, preserving paragraph numbers and original figure callouts so the text can drop straight into our technical documentation set.
• Light proofreading to eliminate any OCR or re-typing errors before delivery.

Accuracy and precision matter more than speed, but I would like to keep momentum—please include an approximate timeline along with a brief note on your experience translating or localizing Japanese mechanical patents when you respond.
