I need a native-level Indonesian linguist who can translate a batch of legal documents with absolute precision. The files include contracts and regulatory material that must retain their exact legal meaning when moved between Indonesian and English.
What I expect:
• Accurate, clause-by-clause translation of roughly 12,000 words (PDF and Word formats).
• Consistent use of legal terminology—no machine-translation shortcuts.
• A clean, ready-to-file version delivered in the original layout, plus a bilingual comparison copy for quick review.
• Full confidentiality; the documents may be subject to NDAs.
Preferred background:
You have proven experience translating contracts, court filings, or similar legal texts and can cite previous clients or provide short samples on request.
Timeline:
The first batch (about 6,000 words) is due within five days of project start; the remainder within the following week. If this run goes smoothly, I have additional legal work on a rolling basis.
