English-Indonesian Contracts Translation
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a collection of English-language contracts that must be rendered into Indonesian with absolute fidelity to their legal meaning and formatting. Every clause, definition, annex and recital has to read naturally to an Indonesian lawyer while matching the source wording precisely enough to stand up in court or before a notary.
You will receive the originals in Microsoft Word. I need the translations returned in the same format, mirroring headings, numbering, tables and signature blocks. A solid grasp of Indonesian legal terminology is essential; please do not rely on raw machine output. If you work in SDL Trados or another CAT tool, that is fine as long as the final file I receive is clean and ready for filing.
Acceptance criteria:
• All terminology consistent throughout the document set
• Formatting preserved line for line
• No omissions or additions beyond translator’s notes where ambiguity exists
• Final text proof-read and free of typos
Confidentiality is critical, so I will ask you to confirm that the files and any translation memories created will stay private. If you have relevant samples—especially contracts translated into Bahasa Indonesia—feel free to share them when you bid.
