English-Amharic/Oromo Affidavit Translation -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a set of English-language affidavits that must be translated with absolute accuracy into both Amharic and Oromo. Every statement will be filed in court, so the legal meaning, formatting and tone have to carry over perfectly.
You will receive editable Word files and I need the finished translations laid out in the same format so they can be signed and notarised immediately. Confidentiality is non-negotiable, and familiarity with Ethiopian legal terminology is essential.
When you reply, focus on your experience handling legal documents—ideally affidavits—and mention any relevant certifications or court-accepted projects you have completed. A brief overview of that background and your typical turnaround time is all I need.
Deliverables:
• Amharic version of each affidavit (DOCX & PDF)
• Oromo version of each affidavit (DOCX & PDF)
• Optional glossary or terminology notes produced during translation
I will assess the work on accuracy, consistency of legal terms, and faithful reproduction of the original layout. I’m ready to start as soon as I find the right linguist.
