We are seeking a highly skilled and discreet Arabic legal translator to assist with the translation of sensitive documentation related to harassment case representation. The materials include victim statements, legal affidavits, and support resource guides intended for use in legal proceedings and client counseling in Arabic-speaking regions.

Key Responsibilities
Translate victim testimonies, legal petitions, and psychological support materials from English to Arabic with utmost accuracy and empathy.

Ensure confidentiality and sensitivity in handling highly personal and traumatic content.

Adapt legal terminology precisely (e.g., “restraining order” → "أمر تقييدي", “emotional distress” → "ضيق نفسي").

Maintain a neutral, formal tone while preserving the emotional gravity of victim statements.

Collaborate with legal advisors to ensure translations meet jurisdictional requirements (e.g., GCC vs. Levantine legal frameworks).

Ideal Candidate
Native Arabic fluency (Modern Standard Arabic + knowledge of regional dialects).

Proven experience in legal translation, preferably in human rights, family law, or criminal justice.

Familiarity with harassment/assault terminology in both English and Arabic.

Empathy and discretion when working with sensitive content.

Background in law, social work, or psychology is a strong plus.
