The ideal candidate will ensure that complex legal terminology is accurately adapted for Arabic-speaking jurisdictions (e.g., UAE, KSA, Egypt), while maintaining the original document’s legal integrity and enforceability.
Key Responsibilities
Translate legal contracts, termsheets, and regulatory filings from English to Arabic.
Precisely localize legal terminology (e.g., “force majeure” → "قوة قاهرة", “indemnification clause” → "بند التعويض").
Ensure compliance with local legal frameworks (e.g., UAE civil law, Saudi Arabian commercial regulations).
Adapt formatting and structure to align with Arabic legal document conventions.
Ideal Candidate
Native Arabic fluency (Modern Standard Arabic + knowledge of Gulf dialects preferred).
Background in corporate law (law degree, paralegal experience, or proven legal translation portfolio).
