Legal Services Demand Research in Australia -- 2

Job ID: 38547666

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I'm looking for a freelancer to conduct desktop research on the demand for legal services within the Australian financial services sector, specifically focusing on regulatory and licensing advice pertaining to tokenized assets in the blockchain market.

I am not looking for details on the law. I am looking for a short report (max 3 -4 pages) which looks professional and is focused on the size of the market and the demand for legal services from a large law firm with as much numbers as possible to stand up to business scrutiny.

Key Areas of Focus:
- Key requirements: looking for hard metrics - as much as possible - on the growth of the digital assets market globally, and in Australia. Then for the demand for legal services in the financial services market, specifically around compliance, licensing and product design.
- Licensing & Product Design: This is the most critical aspect of the financial services regulatory advice that needs to be investigated. The freelancer should explore the complexities and demands surrounding licensing procedures, and product design and assume that AFSLs will be required in 2025. They should comment on the demand for legal services over a 5 year time horizon.
- Target Clients: The research should specifically cater to established financial institutions, specifically private funds, and digital assets exchanges, as these are the primary segments of clients of interest.

Ideal Skills:
- Previous experience in legal, financial, or regulatory research.
- Understanding of digital assets, particularly tokenized assets.
- Familiarity with the Australian financial services sector.
- Ability to analyse and interpret complex regulatory frameworks.
