As an individual who wants to publish a polygamous match making app. exploring globally varying attitudes towards polygamy, I am looking for a competent expert in family law who can help write a document giving the legal opinion as to why polygamy is allowed in each and every country.
Key requirements include:
- Specialized understanding of family law, with an emphasis on marriage rules.
- Insight into the context of polygamy and its legal status on an international scale. This is to be tailored to individual country legislations.
- Proficient with academic research; able to interpret and provide clear, comprehensive summaries of complex legal material for a non-legal audience.
- Comfortable researching and providing legal viewpoints from jurisdictions around the world, regardless of language.
This project necessitates thorough, international research capabilities and expertise in family law. Prior experience with issues of family law on a global scale will be greatly valued. Majority of Muslim and some Christian countries legally recognise such relationships. Opinions for countries like UK, US can be based around the fact that legal polygamous marriages are not recognised but civil relations are allowed and celebrating such relationships carries no legal penalties.
