California - sexual abuse allegations [CCP 340.1] re: minors against city [police] and county [social services]. Such defendants claim no liability because specific statute re: same does not exist and common law does not apply. Looking for way to keep public entities in suit. Note: In that alleged wrongdoing occurred years ago we're stuck with above code wherein in 2020 Legis. extended statute of limitations. As well, Calif. requires almost immediate reporting of alleged minor sexual abuse. Neither city nor county did so. Anything there ???
