Compilation of information with proper footnotes on Caste-based reservation-related protest movements by caste groups demanding reservations from 1990 – 2021 with the following information:
a. Name / Region of the caste
b. Socio-economic profile of the caste – based on census reports. (based on indicators included in the caste census)
c. Supreme Court/ High Court judgement relating to the case of whether the caste was included in SC/ST/OBC . Provide the reason as to why it was or wasn’t included. That is, if the caste was recognised as SC/ST/OBC , then what were the reasons in the judgement. If it was not , what were the reasons in the judgement ?
