Update Florida HOA Bylaws

Job ID: 40346718

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I have a complete set of current HOA bylaws, every amendment ever adopted, and the relevant sections of the Florida Statutes. What I need now is a seasoned HOA-savvy legal professional to walk through those materials, identify every place we are out of step with Chapters 720 and 617, and produce a clean, fully updated set of bylaws that the Board can adopt without hesitation.

Scope
• Examine governing practices, financial policies, and member responsibilities as written today.
• Cross-check each provision against the latest Florida requirements, with special attention to recent changes affecting notice, reserves, and electronic voting.
• Draft revised bylaws in two versions—one clean copy ready for signature and one redline showing all edits.
• Provide a brief change-log summarizing what was added, deleted, or rewritten and why, so the Board can explain the rationale to homeowners.

Acceptance
The work is complete when the bylaws:
1. Cite the correct statute numbers and terminology.
2. Remove or replace legacy language that conflicts with Florida law.
3. Include no gaps that would expose the Association to compliance risk.

All source files will be supplied in Word and PDF format, and I would like the final deliverables returned the same way.
