I am looking to hire a qualified Patent Agent or Patent Attorney registered in India to represent me before the Indian Patent Office, Mumbai.
I have already drafted the patent application. Drafting is not required; however, the selected professional must review and verify the application for correctness and compliance before filing.
Scope of Work
The selected Patent Agent / Attorney will be responsible for the following:
Act on my behalf before the Indian Patent Office, Mumbai
Review and verify the already‑drafted patent application
File the patent application
File and handle the Request for Examination (RFE)
Manage and respond to office actions and objections
Represent me during hearings, prosecution, and any required litigation
Handle all official correspondence with the Patent Office
Manage the complete prosecution process until final resolution
Note: I will not be able to attend the Patent Office personally; therefore, physical representation before the Mumbai Patent Office is mandatory.
Requirements
Must be a registered Indian Patent Agent or Patent Attorney
Proven experience handling matters before the Mumbai Patent Office
Strong knowledge of patent prosecution, examination procedures, and hearings
Ability to represent the applicant independently and professionally
