Professional Reference Letter from Indian Advocate

Hello,

I require a practising Indian advocate to independently draft, issue and personally sign a professional reference letter for my overseas company-incorporation and KYC requirements.

This is not a drafting-only service. The advocate must issue the completed letter under their own professional authority after reviewing my identification documents and performing any reasonable verification they consider necessary.

The letter should include:

• The letter’s date
• The advocate’s or law firm’s name, office address and professional details
• My full legal name, nationality, passport number and residential address
• Confirmation that, to the advocate’s knowledge following reasonable review, no information indicating criminal offences or unlawful or suspicious activity has been identified concerning me
• Confirmation that the advocate is not aware of me being a politically exposed person
• Confirmation that the advocate has the professional authority to issue the reference
• A statement that the letter is being issued at my specific request for overseas company-incorporation and KYC purposes
• Any appropriate limitation-of-liability wording selected by the advocate

The final document must:

• Be issued on official advocate or law-firm letterhead
• Carry the advocate’s original handwritten/wet-ink signature and official stamp
• Display the advocate’s full name, Bar Council enrolment number, office address, email address and telephone number
• Be provided as a clear colour-scanned PDF of the signed original
• Be independently verifiable by the overseas corporate-service provider
• Be available as a couriered physical original if subsequently required
