Non-Profit Website Legal Policies
Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a full legal framework drafted for my non-profit organisation’s website, which primarily processes online donations. The site is not commercial in the traditional sense, yet we still collect personal data, accept card payments, so the copy must be as robust as any e-commerce platform while reflecting our charitable status and mission-driven voice.
Here’s what I’m after:
• Terms & Conditions that define visitor responsibilities, intellectual-property use, and liability limitations in language friendly enough for supporters yet precise enough for legal scrutiny.
• A Privacy Policy that clearly explains how we collect, store, and protect donor information, ideally structured to meet mainstream international standards (think GDPR-level transparency, even though no single regulation was specified).
• A concise User Policy covering account creation, community conduct, and acceptable use, tailored to a donation-focused audience rather than a forum or marketplace.
• A Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Each document should:
– Be written in plain English with short, well-labelled sections.
– Include placeholders where I can drop in organisation-specific facts (registered charity number, mailing address, payment gateway names, etc.).
– Arrive as editable Word or Google Docs files so I can version-control internally.
