Lawsuit Assistance Required Against Lazada in Mabalacat
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I am looking for a newly established lawyer or an experienced law student to help me file a simple lawsuit against Lazada in the Mabalacat court. The DTI proceedings have already been completed, and permission to sue has been granted (I still have some questions). The statement of claim is already complete.
Facts of the case: A defective laptop was delivered that also did not correspond to the advertised product. The seller and Lazada refused to provide any assistance. The person responsible at the seller is unknown. Everything has been perfectly documented. The opposing party is in default.
I need assistance with the following:
1) Finding out the address of Lazada (probably Manila); the responsible person has already been identified
2) Writing the forms of orders sought by the plaintiff (what we demand)
3) Proofreading the (short) statement of claim
4) Assistance in court during hearings.
I expect Lazada to give up upon receipt of the statement of claim, because defending against it should be almost impossible.
My lawyer requested 100,000 pesos as a fee and therefore advised me to give up. Lazada will give up for the same reasons (uneconomical amount in dispute).
Fee by agreement. The laptop cost 13,700 pesos, reduced from 60,000.
