Hi, I’m looking for assistance from a paralegal familiar with Idaho family court filings, specifically Ada County.
I need help reviewing, organizing, and filing a Motion to Set Aside Default in an ongoing custody/family law matter (Case No. CV01-20-9568, Ada County, Idaho).
Background:
* My prior attorney withdrew due to financial hardship.
* I became self-represented (pro se) and did not understand additional filings were required after withdrawal.
* I believed the matter was proceeding toward the already scheduled pre-trial hearing on June 10, 2026 and trial date on July 20, 2026.
* A default was entered against me after a status hearing.
* I appeared and objected once I became aware of the issue.
* I relocated temporarily to Missouri for a contract employment opportunity, and my forwarded mail was delayed while I was working temporarily in Salt Lake City, Utah.
