Defend Against Legal Fees

I need assistance in defending against civil litigation fees.

We had an attorney that failed to properly defend us in a civil case against Turner Pest control. He never tried negotiating the fees and costs down. I have even asked him to file a motion to stop them from accruing more legal fees against us. He refused. I am looking for someone to help negotiate this issue down to an affordable amount. I can explain a lot of the things our attorney did causing this to get out of control. He did not defend the case properly. He refused to negotiate with the Turner Attorney.
My wife and I do not make enough to even come close to paying this back. I am on Disability and she works part time from home.
