Comprehensive Litigation Discovery Help
Budget: $100 – $4,000,000 USD
I’m in the discovery phase of a civil matter that blends contract dispute, LAD violations, defamation, personal injury, negligence claims, Intentional Infliction of Emotional Distress, Consumer Fraud Act Violations, and a number of other causes that make up a 20+ count complaint against 2 defandant-landlords, their realtor, and supervising brokerage. I need an experienced civil litigator who can step in immediately and handle every facet of discovery while positioning the file for motions, trial, or an advantageous settlement. A win in a number of these counts award fee shifting and treble damage recovery potential, a big win to anyone with the commitment to win.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• Document review – organize and analyze a large volume of records, flagging key evidence and privilege issues. Most have already been logged with hash code logs, however chain of custodies will need review.
• Interrogatories – 1st set was drafted, but looking for future help to draft, respond to, and object where appropriate, ensuring compliance with all procedural rules.
• Depositions – develop outlines, prep witnesses, and, if licensed in the jurisdiction, take or defend depositions (remote appearance is fine when permitted).
• Motions & trial preparation – craft discovery-related motions, pre-trial briefs, and evidentiary motions; build a trial notebook and exhibit lists.
• Case presentation – be ready to carry the case through jury selection, trial, or settlement negotiations if we decide to proceed that far.
You’ll collaborate directly with me, share status updates, and store work product in a secure, organized cloud workspace (e.g., Relativity, SharePoint, or similar—your preference). I have done the work up to here thus far as Pro-Se, and have built a VERY extensive case with a WIDE array of evidence to back up anything alleged in the complaint. Timelines are tight, so responsiveness and the ability to hit the ground running matter more than firm size.
