Challenge Lloyds Bank Overdraft Errors

Job ID: 39996124

Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

I need a UK-qualified litigator or banking law specialist to help me challenge Lloyds Bank over a secured overdraft taken out against my home back in 2007. The bank has admitted nothing, yet their own paperwork shows a catalogue of errors:

• They swapped the original contracts without my knowledge.
• PPI and other insurance products were tacked on improperly.
• Key documents have been lost, and nothing was reported to Experian or Equifax.
• They waited a full decade—until 2018—before starting court action, then pushed for possession without my side even being heard.

Because of these mistakes, Lloyds is now demanding what I view as an extortionate sum in interest and legal costs. I want to hold them accountable, reverse or reduce the charges, and, if possible, bring a counter-claim for the damage done.

What I’m after
1. A clear review of all correspondence, contracts, statements, and court papers I have (scanned and ready).
2. Written advice on the strengths of my position under UK banking, contract, and limitation law.
3. A strategy outline—whether that means a robust complaint to the Financial Ombudsman, a set-aside application, or full High Court proceedings.
4. Drafts of any letters before action or court submissions we decide to file.

Acceptance criteria
• I understand the legal avenues open to me and the likely costs/risks of each.
• I have at least one professionally drafted document ready to issue within the agreed timeframe.
• All advice is grounded in current UK legislation, FCA rules, and relevant case law.

If you have a proven track record in challenging large banks—especially on contract swaps, PPI mis-selling, or delayed enforcement—let’s talk.
