CSR Compliance for Section 8 NGO

I already have my NGO incorporated as a Section 8 company and now need a professional who can steer us through every legal step required to secure the CSR-1 certificate and keep the organisation fully compliant thereafter.

The core of the engagement is legal compliance, with particular attention to:
• Preparing and e-filing our CSR-1 application on the MCA portal
• Completing this year’s annual filings (AOC-4, MGT-7 and related forms)
• Securing and maintaining all applicable tax-exemption registrations (12A, 80G)
• Aligning our statutory audit process with CSR reporting norms and advising on any audit disclosures needed

Please guide me on the documents you will need up front, set out a clear timeline for each filing, and outline how you will handle MCA or Income-tax department queries that may arise. I will provide existing incorporation papers, previous returns and financial statements as soon as the project begins.

The assignment is complete once the CSR-1 approval is reflected on the MCA site and all current statutory filings are accepted without resubmission notes.
