Australian Tourist Visa Assistance

I am a Australian citizen, my American girl friend is pregnant and wants to have the baby in Australia. We need advice on which Visa to apply for, we will go back to the US 3months after the baby is born. We will need at least a 6month tourist visa if that is possible.
