Urgent Smart-Meter Injunction

Job ID: 40471247

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

My electric utility has given me a seven-day deadline: accept a smart meter or lose service. Because of serious health concerns, I have declined the installation and now need a fast, well-structured injunction to keep the power on.

Here is where the case stands:
• I possess both written and verbal notices from the company confirming the shut-off date.
• My primary objection is health related, and I can supply medical documentation if that will strengthen the petition.
• I want help drafting the temporary restraining order / injunction and getting it filed with the appropriate court before the cutoff date. Courtroom representation is not required at this stage; the priority is a rock-solid filing that meets procedural rules in my state.

You will:
1. Draft the necessary pleadings (verified complaint, motion for temporary restraining order, supporting memorandum, proposed order, service instructions).
2. Walk me through any signatures or notarizations so everything is court-ready.
3. Handle—or clearly guide me through—the electronic or in-person filing so the injunction is officially entered.

Acceptance criteria:
• Documents conform to local rules (format, citations, exhibits).
• Filing completed no later than 48 hours before the utility’s shut-off deadline.
• Clear, step-by-step instructions for any follow-up service on the power company.

If you regularly prepare emergency injunctions, understand utility–consumer statutes, and can move quickly, I’m ready to supply the notice letters and any other evidence you need right away.
