Legal Assistance on Commission Dispute

Background:
• I have an independent contractor agreement with WLL, a franchisee of STT Logistics Group.
• The contract explicitly states: “This agreement is solely between WLL and AGENT”, meaning WLL is directly responsible for my payments, not STT.
• Before I resigned, WLL charged me 100% of attorney fees related to a client lawsuit.
• I resigned because of this dispute over attorney fees.
• In my final month, I closed orders that generated approximately $2,000 in commissions, but WLL refused to pay me, claiming the lawsuit is still active and using it as justification.
• WLL told me to “read the contract” for their legal backing.
