Empathetic Legal and Estate Assistant
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
Over the next few months I need someone who can stand in for me when conversations with my attorney, real-estate broker, or insurance contacts become overwhelming. You will act as my point person—coordinating calls, relaying updates, and making sure every detail connected to an ongoing family-estate matter is captured accurately and on time.
Core focus
• Interact directly with the legal and real-estate teams: join conference calls, take clear notes, ask follow-up questions, and summarise next steps for me in plain language.
• Keep my calendar clean: schedule meetings, confirm times, and flag anything that conflicts with grief-related commitments or personal support sessions.
• Maintain a transparent document trail: collect, label, and share contracts, filings, or property reports in a single cloud folder so I never have to hunt for them.
• Track action items and deadlines: whether it’s a filing date or a property showing, I rely on you to remind me before it becomes urgent.
What matters most to me
Empathy is essential—I’m navigating a recent loss, so a calm, patient tone during calls and written updates is non-negotiable. Clear, concise communication comes next; I don’t need jargon, just facts and recommended options. Finally, strong organisational habits will keep the process smooth.
Tools we’ll likely use
Google Workspace, Zoom or similar tele-conference software, and whichever secure file-sharing platform you prefer.
Acceptance criteria
– Accurate, same-day summaries for every professional interaction
– Zero missed or duplicated calendar events
– All documents version-controlled and stored in the shared drive within 24 hours of receipt
If you can combine compassion with polished communication and rock-solid organisation, I’d love your help guiding me through this difficult period.
