Compliance Guidance for Japan's APPI

We are seeking expert assistance in establishing comprehensive policies for our handling of human tissue samples in accordance with Japan's "Act on the Protection of Personal Information" (APPI). This project involves processing these samples in the US before shipping them to Japan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing policies ensuring compliance with APPI during data collection, storage, transfer and sharing, as well as usage and consent.
- Providing guidance on best practices for safeguarding the privacy of our primary data users, who are researchers.
