CCTV Footage Retrieval

Need to hire a lawyer to email a private security company to retrieve footage of my self at thier location on a certain day. I have contacted them and they have advised i would need a solicitor to contact them as they cannot release it to me only a solicitor. I have a case reference and all they need is contact from a solicitor requesting the information so they can retrieve it and send it to us.
