Draft King County Vacate Motions

Job ID: 40623380

Budget: $50 – $0 USD

I need two closely-related pleadings prepared and electronically filed in King County Superior Court, Washington:

• a motion to vacate the judgment together with a stay of execution, and
• a motion for reconsideration / revision of the same ruling.

Both motions rely on a legal-error argument—specifically that the court followed an improper procedure by failing to provide adequate notice. I already have the underlying case documents and can supply the docket, orders, and relevant correspondence; what I lack is a compliant, well-argued set of motions that meet every formatting, scheduling, and service requirement of King County’s Local Civil Rules and Washington CR 59 & CR 60.

Scope of work
1. Draft each motion, supporting memorandum, proposed order, and any necessary declarations or affidavits.
2. Incorporate citations to Washington authority showing why the lack of notice warrants relief.
3. Build a concise factual timeline that highlights how the notice defect prejudiced my rights.
4. Prepare a certificate of service that satisfies King County eService rules.
5. Guide—or if possible handle—the eFiling so the clerk accepts the documents without technical rejection.

Acceptance criteria
• Pleadings align with LCR 7 formatting (font, margins, page limits) and the current motion calendar deadlines.
• Argument directly addresses “improper procedure” and “failure to provide adequate notice.”
• Clerk confirms the filings and issues hearing dates without resubmission requests.
