The outbound sales representative supports sales by connecting with targeted companies through researching, prospecting, contacting and meeting setting with Points Of Contact (POCs). Focus of efforts will be communicated by manager, along with process, templates and scripts; the representative will track efforts and report progress on provided spreadsheet. Critical to success will be internet and social media research and analysis to identify business opportunities, develop sales strategies, generate leads, discuss product specifications with prospective customers. Moreover, an outbound sales representative must build positive relationships with clients while adhering to the company's policies and regulations.
