Cold Outreach & Business Development in Oil & Fuel Trading
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
We are a young and growing company specializing in brokering oil and fuel deals. Our focus is on connecting reliable sellers and serious buyers for products such as Diesel (EN590), Gasoline, Jet Fuel, and Crude Oil — starting from 10,000 MT up to 200,000 MT+.
We are now looking for a motivated freelancer with experience in cold outreach, sales, or trading — ideally with knowledge of the oil/fuel industry.
Your Responsibilities:
Research potential sellers and buyers globally (focus: Europe, Africa, MENA)
Build and maintain a simple CRM system (e.g., Airtable, Hubspot)
Perform cold outreach via email, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and possibly phone (as agreed)
Draft introductory messages and requests using ChatGPT or similar tools
Verify and screen companies (website, contact details, registration info, etc.)
Create and maintain a warm lead list with qualified, real contacts
Coordinate with us to prioritize contacts and leads
Optionally assist with basic document handling like ICPO, LOI, SCO, etc.
Requirements:
Background in fuel/oil trading, commodities, B2B sales or lead generation
Familiarity with industry terms like CIF, TTT, FOB, ICPO, NCNDA, SPA, etc.
Self-driven and well-organized work approach
Comfortable communicating via WhatsApp, email, and possibly phone
Solid English skills (written and verbal)
Proficient with tools like ChatGPT for message drafting and research
Your impact:
You will help us build a high-quality contact network of direct sellers and buyers, so we can focus on negotiating deals instead of searching for contacts.
What you should deliver to get us up and running:
Research and document x new companies per day
Perform initial outreach via WhatsApp or email (based on templates)
Track responses and maintain CRM data
Weekly sync calls (1–2 times/week) to coordinate progress
