Enriching Contact Record Database

Job ID: 39943636

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

I have approximately 5,000 contact records, each containing a First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
I need a skilled freelancer to research and enrich these records by identifying valid company websites and contact details.

Your Task
1. Extract Domain
• From each email address, extract the domain (everything after the @).
• Ignore generic email services (e.g. gmail.com, outlook.com, hotmail.com, yahoo.com, etc.).

2. Validate the Domain
• Check if the domain has a working and legitimate website (not a placeholder or landing page from Wix, GoDaddy, Squarespace, Weebly, etc.).
• Confirm that the website is live and accessible.
• Majority of businesses should be Australia based so I dont want international data that is just scraped and inaccurate.

3. Provide an updated data set (without changing the formatting or clearing rows)
• Website URL (final working homepage URL)
• Office Landline Number — prioritise Sydney (NSW), then Australia, and only if unavailable, list overseas numbers.

Postal Address, formatted in the following columns:
• Postal Street
• Postal Suburb
• Postal State
• Postal Postcode
• Postal Country

Provide links to the respective social media accounts being
- LinkedIn (number 1 priority)
- Facebook
- Instagram
- Twitter

Prioritisation Rules
• Focus first on businesses based in Sydney Region, NSW.
• If unavailable, include broader Australian addresses.
• Only include international data if no Australian presence exists.

Requirements
• Proven experience in data enrichment, web research, or lead generation.
• Ability to distinguish between real business websites and parked/placeholder pages.
• Accuracy and consistency in formatting Australian addresses and phone numbers.
• Use of reliable data sources (official websites, company contact pages, LinkedIn, ABN Lookup, etc.).

Deliverables
• A complete, cleaned dataset with all valid websites, phone numbers, and addresses filled in.
• A separate list of emails/domains that could not be validated (for transparency).
