IT Consulting Business Development Lead
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
Our IT consulting practice is ready for a larger sales pipeline, so I’m bringing in a dedicated specialist to focus on two core areas: generating qualified leads and nurturing those leads into lasting client relationships. The mandate is simple—keep my calendar full of discovery calls and keep prospects excited to work with us.
Please note it's a commission based Job apply only if you work with on commission
Here’s how I envision the engagement working:
• Lead generation – Use proven outbound tactics (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, targeted email sequences, industry events, warm referrals, etc.) to supply a steady flow of decision-makers who have a real need for high-value IT consulting services. Each lead should arrive with basic qualification notes: company size, current IT challenges, budget window, and readiness to engage.
• Client relationship management – Once a lead becomes interested, you’ll guide the conversation through early discovery, document their pain points, and maintain regular follow-ups inside my chosen CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce—your preference). Smooth hand-offs to our technical team are critical, so meeting summaries and next-step tracking must be rock-solid.
Acceptance criteria
– Minimum agreed-upon number of sales-qualified leads per month.
– All interactions logged in the CRM with clear next actions.
– Weekly brief sent every Friday summarizing pipeline status, blockers, and recommended adjustments.
If you’re comfortable owning both outreach and relationship-building within the IT consulting space, let’s set up an initial chat and outline targets and milestones.
