I'm a fluent Latvian speaker (ideally located in Latvia) to call Balta Insurance on my behalf essentially to remind them to appoint someone to my claim and to get back to me. That's it. You don't need to give legal advice or get involved in the claim. Your task is essentially to remind them to pay attention to my claim. As I'm a foreigner (resident of Estonia who was injured by a Latvian driver), I need to apply extra pressure to ensure I'm not ignored. So if you are someone who can be annoying or very persistent, that's even better.
As this matter has been properly investigated by police and a hospital report exists with receipts and bills and photos and documentation, I respectfully ask that you don't provide me with any advice such as: "you should take photos". Everything has already been completely reported. I'm not looking for personal advice, just someone who will annoy Balta until they get the message, I won't be ignored.
Requires a short phone call to Balta Insurance. Tell them you're following up on my behalf and you are relaying a message that they must appoint someone to my claim. Advise them I have reached out to their CEO, emailed, called for 1 hour on Friday (nobody answered). Advise them to appoint a claims assessor to my claim and have that person contact me.
