Transform Research Paper into OpenStax Textbook
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’ve finished writing a research paper and now I want it to feel, look, and flow exactly like an OpenStax textbook. That means clean chapter breaks, consistent heading hierarchies, clear typography, running headers and footers, a full table of contents, numbered figures, and all the subtle layout touches you see in professionally published academic texts.
Diagrams and illustrations already exist in my draft; they need to be redrawn or polished so they look cohesive with the new layout and are positioned where the content calls for them. Image call-outs, captions, and alt text must be correctly styled.
Please use whatever production tool you prefer—InDesign, LaTeX, or another professional typesetting solution—as long as the final product meets standard OpenStax design conventions (letter-sized pages, ample margins for notes, accessible color palette, and logical tagging for screen readers).
Deliverables:
• Print-ready PDF that mirrors OpenStax formatting
• Editable source files with linked graphics
• A short style sheet outlining fonts, sizes, and color codes
I’ll supply the manuscript (approx. 18,000 words) and all raw images once we start. Let me know how you’d approach the layout, how many revision rounds are included, and an estimated turnaround time.
