Budget: $50 – $250 CAD

I need a script or tool to automate the conversion of quiz questions written in LaTeX (exported from LyX) into QTI 1.2 XML format for LMS import (Canvas, Moodle, etc.). The quiz includes:
Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) (with equations)
Matching questions
Ordering questions
The tool should:
Extract questions, options (with their equations), and answers from LaTeX source files.
Structure them into QTI-compliant XML format, ensuring proper integration into imsmanifest.xml, assessment_meta.xml, and the question XML files.
Support embedded LaTeX equations, converting them into MathML or a format suitable for LMS compatibility.
Provide an easy-to-use graphical user interface (GUI) for non-programmers.
Be flexible enough so I can reuse it for future quizzes by simply modifying the content. The modification may involve:
A different number of questions
A different type of questions (MCQ, Matching, Ordering)
Deliverables:
A script and an executable (.exe) file that runs independently.
A GUI-based application for easy quiz conversion.
Documentation on how to use the tool (e.g., input format, output format).
Sample generated QTI files to test with Canvas or another LMS.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with QTI XML format and LMS quiz structures.
LaTeX and XML parsing for structured question extraction.
GUI development (preferably using PyQt, Tkinter, or another user-friendly framework).
LMS quiz import/export knowledge (Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard).
