Create LaTeX version of Word documents with full-page tables
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We have thirty Word documents of Bible text that is divided into Books, Chapters, Sections and Verses. We use separate Word docx files because Word struggles with very long documents. Each docx file uses Word tables with header rows to identify the Book/Chapter/Section and columns to separate the Verse number from the Verse text. Text is formatted using Styles which should be mappable to LaTeX book class structures (\part, \chapter, \section, etc).
We want to create a LaTeX versions of these individual documents and a combined master copy (using \include) with the same style of formatting as the original Word documents. The ultimate goal is the creation of an ePub electronic book version that retains the table formatting.
We lack the expertise to create the table structure in LaTeX with the appropriate alignment and spacing, so this is where we need your expert assistance. We want the text-containing tables to use the full width and height of the available page with minimal margins.
Final deliverable is either:
1) A customized tool or script that can convert our docx files to appropriately-formatted LaTeX equivalents

2) Converted LaTeX versions of our thirty docx files
