nanochat LLM Training Guidance
Budget: $25 – $50 CAD
I’m diving into Andrej Karpathy’s nanochat repo and want an expert to sit with me for an initial one-hour call. My immediate goals are to understand the codebase and to map out training methodologies so I can adapt the model to a domain like law or healthcare.

If you have already cloned, modified, or trained nanochat, please highlight that. I’m also keen to hear about any other LLMs you’ve fine-tuned, which verticals you tackled, and what results you achieved (LoRA, PEFT, Hugging Face Transformers, RAG pipelines, etc.).
Timing is flexible; we’ll coordinate a slot that works for both of us. We will also discuss next steps after the first call.

• One live, screen-shared session (~60 min) where we discuss nanochat and some specific items to mid-training.
