We are seeking a specialized AI Engineer to build the core intelligence of InzightEd. This role requires specific expertise in integrating large language models via APIs and structuring data within relational and graph databases to power our platform's personalized learning and automated assessment features.
Core Responsibilities:
Develop and manage robust integrations with the Google Gemini API to drive features like mistake analysis and automated grading.
Design, build, and maintain high-performance APIs for our backend services.
Model and manage complex educational data using both PostgreSQL and a Graph Database (e.g., Neo4j).
Implement graph-based data structures to map student learning pathways, knowledge gaps, and content relationships.
Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless data flow between the AI engine, databases, and the user-facing application.
Required Technical Skills & Experience:
AI & API Integration:
Demonstrable experience integrating and utilizing LLMs, specifically the Google Gemini API.
Strong proficiency in building and consuming RESTful APIs.
Database Management:
Solid experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
Proven experience with Graph Databases (e.g., Neo4j, ArangoDB), including data modeling and querying (e.g., using Cypher).
Programming & Tools:
High proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy).
Experience with version control using Git.
Qualifications:
A degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
A portfolio or demonstrated history of projects involving LLM APIs and complex database structures.
Strong analytical ability to translate educational requirements into technical and data-driven solutions.
