php-mcp laravel Integration

I am looking for a skilled Laravel developer to help me extend the functionality of a PHP/Laravel-based AI platform.
The platform, built on the "MagicAI" script, currently integrates multiple LLMs (GPT, Gemini, etc.) for text and image generation. The goal of this project is to implement a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server within the application. This will allow the platform to securely connect with external applications and data sources in a standardized way, essentially turning it into a powerful, extensible AI hub.
This is a backend-focused project that requires a solid understanding of API development and integration within the Laravel framework.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Installing and configuring a PHP/Laravel package for MCP, such as php-mcp/laravel.
-Analyzing the existing application's codebase to understand its core services (e.g., user management, text/image generation functions).
-Developing MCP "Tools" and "Resources" by wrapping these existing services, allowing them to be securely called by external MCP clients.
-Ensuring the MCP endpoint is correctly configured, secure, and well-documented.
-Collaborating with me to test the integration and ensure it meets project requirements.
Required Skills:
-Strong experience with PHP and the Laravel framework.
-Proven experience in building and integrating RESTful APIs or other server-to-server communication protocols.
-Familiarity with Composer and modern PHP development practices.
-Ability to work independently and understand an existing codebase.
Big Plus (but not required):
-Direct experience with or knowledge of the Model Context Protocol (MCP).
-Experience with real-time communication protocols (like WebSockets or SSE).
