Troubleshoot Laravel SOAP WSDL Error

I am currently working on a Laravel project and facing an issue with SOAP requests to a remote server. I'm encountering the following error: "Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from WSDL."
I can communicate normally and without issues using my standard PHP script, but the same code doesn't work when I put it in my Laravel project.
I've tried using SoapClient, cURL, and the CodeDredd\Soap package. I keep getting the same error: "Parsing WSDL: Couldn't load from WSDL."
I also tried calling my PHP script within my Laravel project using shell_exec(), but it still doesn't work and gives the same error.
