Setup discussion forum on laravel site

As the owner of a web platform built using Laravel, I'm looking for someone to help setup a discussion forum. I am hoping for a forum that requires registration for access, and also will require moderation. I do not have an example in mind of what the discussion forum should look like, and would appreciate help in designing one. The goal of this forum is to create a place for users to discuss topics related to our platform and its content.
