Senior Full-Stack Laravel Developer Needed

Job ID: 38724721

Budget: $8 – $15 USD

We’re seeking an experienced web developer to create an admin dashboard and API for managing, building, and serving "listicles" across multiple front-end websites. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of building efficient and clean admin panels. The API’s primary function will be to generate JSON responses.

PROJECT OVERVIEW:

Develop a dashboard for managing and building "offer walls" or "listicles" of various products/services, with an API to serve this content (via JSON) to multiple front-end websites.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

Admin Dashboard Features:

- CRUD operations for listicles, products, and categories.
- Drag-and-drop interface for ordering items within listicles or categories.
- Category management (each product should be assigned to a category).
- Active/Paused toggle for products and categories.
- Split-testing system with percentage weights for products. On the main listicle page, we should be able to choose either an entire category or individual products. If a category is selected, the system fetches "active" products and rotates them based on set percentages.
- Macro system for content management (e.g., [[5_star_img]] for image URLs).
- Dynamic field creation for products, allowing us to define unlimited key-value pairs and use HTML/CSS in values (e.g., product_description).
- Bulk editing for products (e.g., adding fields or renaming keys for multiple products at once).
- Clean, user-friendly interface that can handle large listicles (100+ products).
- Quick and easy export of the database.

API Development:

The API should allow frontend websites to request listicle data and respond with the correct JSON. The frontend will use this JSON to build listicle HTML.

API features should include:

- Split-testing logic in API responses (or consider frontend-based implementation).
- Macro replacement functionality for content management.
- Fast API response times (consider caching solutions like Redis for speed).

Technical Stack:

- Laravel/MySQL/Sneat theme or Metronic(will provide)
- To ensure you've read the full details, include the word "pineapple" in your response. This helps filter out bots and ensures only qualified candidates apply.

Additional Requirements:

- Implement login, authentication, and authorization.
- Scalability to handle high traffic (100k+ API requests/day).
- Clean, well-documented code.
- Provide deployment instructions for easy setup on new servers or domains.

Split-Testing System:

The split-testing system should allow assigning percentage weights to products and categories. If more than one product is active in a category, the system will display one product at a time based on the assigned percentages. This could possibly be handled on the frontend websites, though.

Macro Replacement System:

Use macros to dynamically manage content (e.g., [[5_star_img]]). This allows for easy updates across multiple products without manual edits.

Dynamic Field Creation:

Define unlimited key-value pairs for each product, enabling the flexibility to add any additional information or attributes needed (e.g., a "discount percentage" field).

Bulk Editing:

Flexibility to manage large data sets is crucial. The system should allow bulk editing for categories and products (e.g., adding fields or renaming keys across multiple items).

Handling Large Data Sets:

The system must handle large data sets with listicles containing over 100 products. Include pagination and search functionality to navigate large lists easily.

LIVE EXAMPLES:

We’ve included live examples of the frontend listicle pages in a text file on Pastebin for you to review:

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Proven experience building admin dashboards and APIs (portfolio required).
Security-focused development (e.g., preventing SQL injections, XSS attacks).
- Familiarity with caching solutions like Redis.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English.
- Track record of delivering projects on time.

TIMELINE AND AVAILABILITY:

We need someone to start immediately. Q4 is critical for us, and we aim for a quick turnaround. This dashboard involves relatively basic CRUD functionality with a JSON API. By leveraging pre-built tools, templates, or AI dev tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor IDE), we believe an experienced developer can deliver this within a week or less. There's no need to reinvent the wheel; existing tools or frameworks can help achieve this quickly.
